Elected: November of odd-numbered years (Municipal Elections).
Term: Members serve 4-year terms that are staggered so that half the Board (either 4 or 5 seats) are elected every 2 years.

Party: Each party may nominate no more than 2 candidates, and each voter may vote for no more than 2 candidates. The top 3 vote-getters are elected. Pennsylvaniaโs Sunshine Act (aka the โOpen Meetings Lawโ) requires that agencies deliberate and take official action in an open and public meeting. It requires that meetings have prior notice, and that the public can attend, participate, and comment before an agency takes that official action.
